Baptism can seem confusing, but really is quite simple.
There is nothing magical about the water we use, but there is definitely something powerful that happens in baptism. The Bible teaches when we are lowered down into the water and lifted up it is imagery of Jesus’ own death, burial and resurrection from the dead. In other words, baptism symbolizes leaving an old life behind and embracing a new life in Jesus.

The ocean, a pool, a hot tub, or even an alligator infested pond (not recommended). Basically anywhere there is enough water to be fully submerged is a perfect place. If possible, we would love for you to be baptized during one of our weekend worship experiences so we can celebrate with you.
